Most of their staff are experienced hunters and have a hunter's appreciation of what animals look like in their natural state, especially with those species uniquely hunted in New Zealand such as the Tahr Bull and Arapawa Ram. Upon booking your hunt with Backcountry New Zealand, you will receive a pre-trip info pack in the mail. This includes current costs and taxidermy requirements in detail. Backcountry guides will visit Big Game Taxidermy with you at the start of your tour and finish of your tour.
